Foxconn China subsidiary pulls 300 more engineers from India
Foxconn subsidiary Yuzhan Technology has sent back around 300 Chinese engineers from its India facility, making it the second such instance where the Taiwanese group had to do so in recent times, people aware of the developments told ET. This comes at a time where there appears to be a thaw in the relations of the two countries.
Reports surfaced on July 2 that Apple supplier Foxconn had to recall around 300 Chinese engineers and technicians from its iPhone manufacturing facilities in India. This latest instance with Yuzhan Technology also involves a similar number of engineers, said the people.
