Starlink to use Aadhaar e-KYC for customer onboarding as UIDAI signs up satellite internet provider

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has onboarded satellite internet provider Starlink Satellite Communication Pvt Ltd, enabling the company to use Aadhaar-based authentication for customer verification.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Electronics and IT on Wednesday, Aadhaar—described as one of the most trusted digital identity systems—will ensure that customer onboarding is quick, paperless and compliant with Know Your Customer (KYC) norms.
