Infosys fined by Singapore tax authority over GST payment, what company’s filing on stock exchange says

Infosys faces penalty from Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. The company announced the same in a stock exchange filing. Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has imposed a penalty of 97,035 Singapore dollars (over Rs 66 lakh) on Infosys. In a regulatory filing on August 13, Infosys said, “This is to inform that the Company has received communication(s) for collection of penalty.” The Infosys statement added, “There is no material impact on financials, operations or other activities of the company.”

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore administers and collects taxes. The penalty of 97,035.9 SGD levied on Infosys pertains to “Singapore GST payment for the period April 2025 to June 2025”.
