Google brings new Gemini app updates; adds personalized chats, privacy controls and more

Google is rolling out new updates to the Gemini app that are aimed to make “it an even more personal, proactive and powerful assistant”. In a blog post, the company announced that Gemini app can now reference your past chats to learn your preferences, delivering more personalized responses. Google is also introducing a new privacy feature called Temporary Chats, and new settings that give users more control over their data. The new features will be rolled out to users over the coming weeks. Personalized conversations will be available when using the 2.5 Pro model in select countries.

Google said it plans to expand the feature to 2.5 Flash model and more countries in the weeks ahead.
