Amazon is now offering fresh groceries for Same-Day Delivery in over 1,000 US cities, competing directly with Walmart. Announcing the update via a blog post, the company said that it plans to reach more than 2,300 by the end of the year. In the blog post, Amazon said that customers can now order produce, dairy, meat, seafood, baked goods, and frozen foods alongside millions of other products like electronics, fashion, and household essentials.
