PhonePe, GPay and Paytm UPI users alert: UPI payment rules to change from October 1: Check crucial details

If you rely on UPI payments for most of your transactions, then this is crucial for you. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has announced a big change to UPI to enhance security and prevent transaction-based fraud. Starting October 1, 2025, NPCI is going to disable person-to-person (P2P) collect requests. The move is aimed at reducing the chances of fraudsters tricking users into authorising payments unknowingly.
