Grok, the AI chatbot owned by Elon Musk’s xAI was briefly suspended on social media platform X on August 11. While no official explanation was provided for the suspension, Grok’s X account posted after reinstatement: “Zup beaches, I’m back and more based than ever!”. However, when users questioned Grok about its suspension, the AI bot responded saying the suspension “occurred after I stated that Israel and the US are committing genocide in Gaza”. An X user shared a screenshot of Grok’s reply which Elon Musk corrected, saying it was a “dumb error” on the AI bot’s part. Stating that Grok doesn’t know the reason behind its suspension, Musk said that it was a “dumb error”
