Centre appoints Vikram Singh Malik, Arpitha S as Deputy Secretaries in I&B ministry

The Centre on Tuesday appointed two bureaucrats as deputy secretaries in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) through the Central Staffing Scheme. The appointments were formalised through office memorandums issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Vikram Singh Malik, a 2012-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in MIB for a standard four-year tenure. The Ministry of Home Affairs had recommended Malik for central deputation.
