Bengaluru man slits throat of 14-yr-old nephew addicted to ‘Free Fire’ game

Bengaluru: A 50-year-old man in northwestern Bengaluru was so upset over his nephew’s addiction to the mobile game ‘Free Fire’ and repeated demands for money that he killed him by slitting his throat, the police said.
The incident occurred on August 4 in Vinayak Nagar, Pipeline Road, Kumbarahalli.
The suspect, GR Nagaprasad, a security guard, decided to kill his younger sister’s 14-year-old son, Amogh Keerthi, after a quarrel over money the previous night, the police added.
