BSNL, Vodafone Idea record highest call drop rates in northeast LSA: TRAI
NEW DELHI: State-controlled Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and India’s third-largest telecom carrier Vodafone Idea (Vi) showed the highest drop call rates of 6.41% and 3.68%, respectively, in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) drive tests conducted in the northeast licensed service area (LSA) in June.
On the contrary, Airtel had the lowest call drop rate of 1.23%, followed by Jio (2.17%), in TRAI’s drive tests between June 2, 2025, to June 23, 2025.
