Vodafone Idea expands 5G services to these 8 more cities: Data plan and more

Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the expansion of its 5G services to eight additional cities, bringing its total 5G footprint to 17 cities across India. The latest rollout includes Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara (Gujarat), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nashik (Maharashtra), and Kozhikode and Malappuram (Kerala).

This follows earlier launches in Mysuru, Nagpur, Jaipur, and Sonipat, with upcoming deployments planned for Meerut, Vizag, Madurai, and Agra. Vi’s initial 5G phase covered Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and Patna, focusing on 17 priority circles where it holds spectrum right.
