Vodacom wins appeal in call-back service compensation case

JOHANNESBURG: South Africa’s Vodacom Group on Thursday secured a ruling from the country’s Constitutional Court to overturn a lower court’s decision regarding compensation owed to a former employee for his role in developing its call-back messaging service.

The Constitutional Court of South Africa set aside the Supreme Court of Appeal’s judgment and sent the matter back to the court to be re-heard by a different panel of judges.
