Centre aims to collect ₹5,473 crore from BSNL, MTNL asset monetisation in FY26: Pemmasani

NEW DELHI: The Central government said on Thursday that the target for asset monetisation of state-controlled telecom carriers Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is ₹900 crore and ₹4,573 crore, respectively, for FY26.

Minister of State for Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, in a written reply, told Rajya Sabha that the asset monetisation is being done under the revival packages approved by the Union Cabinet for both telecom companies.
