‘I think that’s very screwed up’: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman warns about ChatGPT privacy

ChatGPT-maker OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently admitted that conversations with the AI tool are not fully legally protected and can be used in court proceedings as evidence. Speaking at This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Altman said “People talk about the most personal details in their lives to ChatGPT. People use it, young people, especially, use it as a therapist, a life coach; having these relationship problems and [asking] ‘what should I do?’”.

He continued “And right now, if you talk to a therapist or a lawyer or a doctor about those problems, there’s legal privilege for it.
