OpenAI to reportedly launch GPT-5 language model in August

OpenAI is all set to launch its next-generation language model — GPT-5. As reported by The Verge, the company may launch the upgraded GPT-5 model in mid-August. The report also adds that the new language model is undergoing safety training and internal evaluations. Recently, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also revealed on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) that company will soon release GPT-5. Altman also detailed some of the capabilities of the upcoming language model on a recent podcast appearance.
