Mobile production surges by 146% to ₹5.25 lakh crore in 4 fiscals, exports up 775%: Piyush Goyal
New Delhi: The production of mobiles in India in value terms has increased by around 146 per cent from ₹2,13,773 crore in FY 2020-21 to ₹5,25,000 crore in FY 2024-25, the Parliament was informed on Tuesday.
During the same period, exports of mobile phones in value terms has increased by around 775 per cent from ₹22,870 crore in 2020-21 to ₹2,00,000 crore in 2024-25.
