PPP-MII Review

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a notice seeking feedback from the stakeholders on the review of the Public Procurement Policy (PPP) with a preference for the Make-in-India (MII) order issued on October 21, 2024.

The review will specifically examine aspects related to the list of products notified under the order, product-wise local content (LC) requirements – including the ceiling of LC for design -conditions for qualifying design inputs as LC and the criteria for calculating LC in software products.
