GTA 6 set to break records, projected to earn $7.6 billion in just two months
Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 26, 2026. A PC launch date is still under wraps. GTA V, the series’ previous main entry, remains the second best-selling game ever, thanks in part to its thriving online mode. Its follow-up, GTA 6, is now exactly a year away from release. Projections from Konvoy, a venture capital firm specializing in gaming ventures, suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 could rake in a jaw-dropping $2 billion in revenue within its first 24 hours of release, and potentially reach $7.6 billion in just two months.
