Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has announced the appointment of longtime Amazon executive Tom Taylor as the new President and CEO of the $10 billion Bezos Earth Fund. Taylor retired from Amazon in October 2022 after more than two decades of working at the tech giant. Taylor will now lead the philanthropic endeavour which works of combating climate change. This new appointment signals a shift in the leadership of fund, which had previously seen executives primarily from the environmental community.
