Deploying made in India gear in BharatNet 3 program: Cisco’s Daisy Chittilapilly
NEW DELHI: Cisco Systems, one of the top networking equipment companies said that the multinational is deploying domestically designed, developed and manufactured routers as it has aligned its local manufacturing capabilities with India’s ambitious BharatNet 3 program.
‘One of the things that links is the technology that we are deploying in BharatNet, and is also the product that’s being manufactured in India for the world. There is a tight alignment between the program and our manufacturing mission,’ Daisy Chittilapilly, president (India & SAARC), Cisco, told ETTelecom.
