India plays key role in setting global telecom standards: Jyotiraditya Scindia

Bengaluru: For the first time, India is playing a key role in setting global telecom standards, Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Thursday.

He said this shift is being driven by national initiatives such as Anusandhan (research), Atmanirbharta (self-reliance), Make in India, and Make for the World.

During his one-day visit to Bengaluru, Scindia met members of the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA) and addressed researchers, industry leaders, and global partners, outlining a comprehensive roadmap for India’s leadership in next-generation 6G technology.
