Bengaluru police rolls out ‘Safe Connect’ feature for emergency video calls
Bengaluru: The city police has introduced ‘Safe Connect’, a new feature within the KSP Mobile App, to strengthen public safety and improve police-citizen coordination.
Launched on July 6, 2025, by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the system offers a two-way audio-video communication channel for emergency situations.
The feature enables citizens to make video calls directly to the Safe City Command Centre, sharing their live location. This real-time visual and location data helps the police assess the situation and dispatch the nearest Hoysala patrol unit.
