Google launches Doppl app for AI-powered virtual outfit try-ons

Google Labs has rolled out ‘Doppl’ a new experimental app which is designed to enhance online shopping experience by offering AI-based virtual outfit try-ons. Presently available in the IS, the app allow users aged 18 and above with a Google account to use Doppl. The app enable the users to visualise how clothes would look on them without actually trying them.

The Doppl app from Google uses artificial intelligence and allow users to upload a full-body photo of themselves or select any from a pre-existing AI models. After this users can superimpose images to screenshots of tops, bottoms and dresses from their camera roll onto the selected body. The app will then offer an instant virtual fitting of the same.
