Vodafone Idea shares jump 5% as government considers relief on ₹84,000-crore AGR dues
Shares of Vodafone Idea rose 5% to ₹6.89 on Tuesday after reports suggested that the government is exploring multiple options to ease the telecom operator’s ₹84,000 crore adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues burden.
The Centre, which is already the largest shareholder in the company with a 49% stake, is considering relief measures to keep the financially stressed telco afloat.
