Man duped of Rs 3.20 lakh in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: A 43-year-old resident of Madanthyar in Beltangady taluk has reportedly been duped of Rs 3.2 lakh by a woman he came in contact with through Facebook.

According to the police, Rajesh K developed a friendship with a woman named Sandhya Pavithra Nagaraj on the social media platform in 2024. The two stayed in touch over the phone, during which the woman claimed that she had helped several people who were in distress or had fallen victim to fraud.
