Make in India: OnePlus partners with Optiemus Electronics to locally manufacture IoT devices

New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus on Wednesday (June 18) said it has partnered with Optiemus Electronics Ltd (OEL) to manufacture Internet of Things (IoT) devices in India.

OnePlus IoT offerings include TWS (True Wireless Stereo) products and wireless neckbands. The local production of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 neckband has begun, according to a statement.

“The strategic partnership aligns with OnePlus’ long-term vision for India and the recent project Starlight commitment to strengthen localisation efforts in the region.
