Fake DC profile circulating on Facebook, administration issues warning

An unknown miscreant has created a fake Facebook ID impersonating East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi. The fraudulent profile has triggered alarm within the district administration, prompting a swift and firm response to safeguard the public from potential misinformation and misuse of identity.

Terming the act as a serious cyber offence, the district administration has appealed to citizens to remain alert and vigilant against such deceptive tactics. Officials clarified that such activities are not only illegal but are intended to mislead and manipulate the general public, often leading to identity theft, financial fraud, or the spread of false information.
