According to the post, this was the user’s second visa interview in Ottawa. They secured an appointment for June 9 at short notice — just a week before the scheduled date — indicating that last-minute cancellations can open up new slots. “I noticed that slots tend to open up now and then, usually about a week in advance,” the user wrote.
