Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has issued an AI chip warning to the US. The chip-making giant’s chief has stated that if restrictions on AI semiconductors to China continue, Huawei will capitalise on its position in that market. In a recent interview with CNBC at the Viva Technology conference in Paris, Huang said that Huawei would “take advantage of its position in the world’s second-largest economy.”
“Our (US) technology is a generation ahead of theirs,” he added. However, Huang cautioned, “If the United States doesn’t want to partake, participate in China, Huawei has got China covered, and Huawei has got everybody else covered.”
