Indian government issues warning for smartphones, laptops, smart TVs running on THESE processors: Are you at risk?

India’s cybersecurity agency, CERT-In, has released a high-level alert concerning numerous devices that use MediaTek processors. The notice, tagged CIVN-2025-0119, points to serious security flaws that might allow hackers to escalate user privileges or interfere with system operations.

The warning applies to a broad range of gadgets, including mobile phones, laptops, smart televisions, tablets, Wi-Fi routers, and various connected home appliances.
