Thailand’s B. Grimm Power and Singapore’s Digital Edge to invest $1 billion in Thai data centre

BANGKOK: Thai B. Grimm Power Pcl and Singaporean digital infrastructure firm Digital Edge will invest $1 billion in a 100-megawatt data centre in Thailand, the companies said in a statement on Monday.

Southeast Asia’s second-largest economy and its neighbours have become an attractive destination for investments in digital infrastructure and data centres from tech companies seeking new sources of clean energy to meet surging demand from artificial intelligence.
