Vodafone, MediaTek achieve 5G SA uplink speed of 277Mbps during trial in Spain

NEW DELHI: British telecom group Vodafone and Taiwanese chip company MediaTek have achieved an uplink of 277Mbps using the former’s 5G standalone (SA) network during a trial in Spain, to support the connectivity demand for user-generated content and a booming number of artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
