Vodafone Idea shares in focus; seeks SC relief on Rs 45,457 crore AGR dues
Vodafone Idea’s share price declines 4% to a low of Rs 7.07 after the company sought the Supreme Court’s help for waiver of Rs 45,457 crore in adjusted gross revenue (AGR)-related dues.
The telecom operator approached the Supreme Court and petitioned to waive off its annual AGR payments of Rs 18,000 crore as it cannot meet that by FY26. The annual AGR payment is almost twice its current operational cash generation of Rs 9,200 crore.
