Vodafone Idea rolls out 5G in Delhi NCR using Ericsson’s high-performance radio solutions

Telecom operator Vodafone Idea has announced the launch of its 5G services in Delhi NCR in collaboration with Ericsson. The telco has confirmed that it will roll out the 5G services in all 17 priority circles by August this year. Vi has integrated energy-efficient Ericsson Radio System products, including mid-band Massive MIMO antenna-integrated radios AIR 3268 and AIR 3255. These upgrades enhance spectrum efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and optimise network performance, ensuring seamless 5G connectivity.

Vi’s introductory 5G offer includes unlimited data for users with 5G-enabled devices on plans starting from Rs 299.
