Google introduces new Android security features to protect you from online scams

Google has announced a suite of new security features designed to bolster Android devices against the growing threats of scams and theft ahead of Google I/O 2025. “Android is constantly evolving to help keep you safe from the unexpected, from scams and lost belongings to the most sophisticated security threats. Here are three new ways Android is keeping you and your devices safe,” said the company in a blog post. The new features comprises of protections for calls, screen sharing, device access, message protection and access to permissions.
