Elon Musk says Saudi Arabia has approved Starlink, talks robotaxis and Optimus robots

Elon Musk has said that Saudi Arabia has approved SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service for aviation and maritime use. He thanked “the Kingdom for approving the use of Starlink”. He also expressed interest in bringing Tesla’s robotaxis to Saudi Arabia, contingent on the Kingdom’s approval.

According to a report by CNBC and a video shared by Musk on X, the Tesla CEO mentioned demonstrating Tesla’s developing Optimus humanoid robots to both a US leader and the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during the visit.
