Government debunks viral ‘Operation Sindoor’ WhatsApp message as fake

A viral WhatsApp message claiming to be from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and warning of a potential conflict with Pakistan under the title “Operation Sindoor” has been debunked as fake by the Press Information Bureau’s Fact Check unit (PIB Fact Check).
