GCCs, small companies see an opening in WFO rules

Managers at major technology services companies are getting numerous requests from employees seeking flexibilities on work-from-office (WfO) mandates, citing reasons such as long commuting hours, ailing parents at home and education of young children. While companies may be conceding to some requests to retain key employees who may be hard to replace, some people are quitting jobs and joining smaller firms or global capability centres (GCCs) that are open to work-from-home or hybrid models.
