Donald Trump’s tariffs are failing to be the promised iPhone homecoming as Apple looks to ramp up manufacturing of the smartphone in India. As China gets hit with triple-digit levies in the tariff back-and-forth, the California-based tech giant has been supplying its home markets with iPhones made in India. There isn’t any word of moving manufacturing operations entirely to the US.
