BSNL, ACES India tie-up to improve connectivity across Kanpur Metro’s underground stations

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has partnered with ACES India to strengthen mobile network connectivity across Kanpur Metro’s underground stations and tunnels.

‘This collaboration ensures that passengers traveling within the underground sections will experience uninterrupted mobile network coverage,’ the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday.

Under the agreement, ACES India has designed and implemented an in-building solution (IBS) system to enhance BSNL’s network coverage across Kanpur Metro’s underground metro stations and connecting tunnels.

The companies, during a recent demonstration, showcased full mobile signal strength and smooth data services across the underground stretches.

‘Our collaboration with ACES India ensures a superior connectivity experience for passengers and marks a significant step forward in the development of smart infrastructure in India. BSNL subscribers can now enjoy high-quality voice and data services in the Kanpur Metro,’ said Prabhansh Yadav, general manager, BSNL.

‘Our agreement with BSNL for Kanpur Metro reflects ACES India’s commitment to building resilient telecom infrastructures that enable smart, connected mobility solutions,’ said Mohammed N Mazher, managing director, ACES India.

Telangana-headquartered ACES India is a telecom and digital infrastructure solutions provider, specialising in designing, deploying, and managing connectivity systems.
