Portable internet helps Asia scam centers bypass blackouts

BANGKOK: In February, Thai and Myanmar authorities worked together to turn off electricity and the internet in an unprecedented operation to free thousands of trafficking victims forced to work in cyber-scam centers in Myanmar.
