Satcom companies urge DoT for quick spectrum allotment

Kolkata: The satcom industry has urged the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to speed up provisional allotment of satellite spectrum, a move that will allow Bharti Group-backed Eutelsat OneWeb and the Reliance Jio-SES combine-which have government clearance-to introduce satellite internet commercially in India.
