Banks grappling with increasing losses from MTNL

Mumbai: Banks are grappling with increasing losses from the government-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL), even as they await a concrete repayment plan from the company as well as the department of telecom (DoT) amid limited options to recover dues from the public sector entity, said people familiar with the matter.
