More layoffs at Infosys? Reports indicate tech firm let go 240 more entry-level employees

IT services major Infosys has laid off 240 entry-level employees after they did not pass internal assessments, confirmed a Moneycontrol report after reviewing company emails sent on April 18. This followed a round of terminations in February, when the IT giant let go of more than 300 trainees under similar circumstances. Infosys is offering those affected free upskilling programs through NIIT and UpGrad, the report maintained.
