TCS sees ‘Tata Motors-Sanand moment’ as the company gets 21.16 acre land in Andhra Pradesh for just 99 paisa

Andhra Pradesh’s cabinet has approved the allotment of 21.16 acres of land to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Visakhapatnam for a symbolic price of just 99 paisa, as part of efforts to transform the port city into a major IT hub.

The decision, reported by MoneyControl, comes after months of continuous discussions between state officials and the IT giant following IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s initial pitch during a visit to Tata headquarters in Mumbai in October 2024.
