UPI down: GPay, PhonePe, Paytm and other apps hit by outage as users report failed payments

Update: UPI services appear to have returned to normal. Downdetector reports show a significant decrease in complaints, with only 225 at the time of writing. NPCI has not issued an update.

UPI experienced yet another service outage, resulting in thousands of users reporting their inability to make payments and execute fund transfers.
