OpenAI launches new feature to ChatGPT that gave sleepless nights to CEO Sam Altman
OpenAI has updated its AI assistant ChatGPT that brings a new memory feature. Announcing the new feature on X (formerly Twitter), the company said “Starting today, memory in ChatGPT can now reference all of your past chats to provide more personalized responses, drawing on your preferences and interests to make it even more helpful for writing, getting advice, learning, and beyond.” Hours before the announcement, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared an X post where he wrote: “a few times a year i wake up early and can’t fall back asleep because we are launching a new feature”. “Today is one of those days!,” he added.
