ChatGPT outage: Users report facing issues with AI chatbot’s website and app globally

ChatGPT is currently experiencing an outage affecting users worldwide. As reported by outage tracking website Downdetector thousands of users are impacted across multiple markets. OpenAI has yet to disclose details about the cause or the full extent of the outage. As per Downdetector, the latest ChatGPT’s downtime is affecting users across US, UK and India. More than 2,000 people across these markets have reported facing issues with the AI tool. Downdetector indicates a spike in complaints around 6:56 PM, with the number continuing to rise as more users report problems. At the time of writing, 125 users reported an issue with ChatGPT in India, while in UK and US, 436 and 1,424 users noted facing problems with the AI tool, respectively.
