X files: Government to challenge suit on information blocking

The central government is set to file objections to a lawsuit by X Corp (formerly Twitter) which has sought a declaration that section 79(3)(b) of the IT Act does not authorise the Union government to issue information blocking orders, which are governed by section 69A of the same Act.
