OpenAI recently released its, now viral, Ghibli-style image generator, but the feature has become so popular that the company is now limiting its wide usage. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on Thursday announced, “our GPUs are melting”. Soon after the announcement, the company paused the new image generator for free users.

But the bad news doesn’t end there. People who use ChatGPT for free, will now face a daily limit on the number of images that they can generate. Altman took to X and shared the news.
